Rachelle was born in Sydney, Australia, and has always loved photography and nature. Animals were what inspired her photography interests in the beginning and continue to do so."The closer you get to examining the details, the more intricate and detailed things are, just opens up even more interesting avenues of photography and discovery. These are the things that make you appreciate life.I also have particularly enjoyed portraiture and weddings as I get great joy from someone who hates to have their photo taken, see an image of themselves and say "oh I like that one". I believe that everyone has a very unique beauty, a charm, quirk, distinction, that makes them who they are, which unfortunately often dissapears as soon as a camera is involved. I endeavour to relax them and always hope to capture that.I have also worked as a real estate photographer, which is quite challenging at times, but I enjoy getting a feeling of a room in an image and working with different lighting.I sell my nature images as wall art available as canvas prints which can be ordered online through "Art on Canvas" (see purchase studio f8 tab) and as personal greeting cards and prints in some boutique art & giftware stores. I hope soon to add to this with my range of coffee table style image books as well and will make them available via this website.
